Survey Results Reinforce the Need for Owner Oversight

Morrissey Goodale’s 2009 A/E Industry Report Card provides the following results for Architects/Engineers when evaluated by Project Owners:

Keeping on Budget: more than 40% of the grades were “Cs” and “Ds”
Quality of Work: nearly a third (31%) of the grades were “Cs” and “Ds”

Regardless of who is responsible, budget and quality problems cost the Owner. It pays you to effectively lead and manage the A/E’s and GC/CM’s efforts.
