DOUG SITTON OF SITTON CONSTRUCTION GROUP BECOMES LEED ACCREDITED
Belleville, Ill., Oct 17, 2007... Doug Sitton, President of Sitton Construction Group, has passed the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional exam. The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® green building rating system is a national benchmark for high performance buildings. As a LEED accredited professional, Sitton now has greater capabilities to assist clients seeking to develop sustainable projects.
After almost three decades in the design and construction industry in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, Sitton formed Sitton Construction Group, a construction management and management consulting firm, in July 2007. Sitton belongs to the Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA) of St. Louis, the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois and the Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also a director of the Bank of Belleville.
